Description of Project:
This was a collaborative project between Ms. Frachetti, teacher-librarian and 3rd-4th grade teachers: Ms. Beckwith, Mrs. Gasamis, Mrs. Markson, and Mrs. O'Grady with assistance from Ms. Miller (Mrs. Gasamis's long-term sub).
Students were asked to research a famous person or landmark in Colorado history. Students then wrote an introduction to their person/landmark in the first person and created a podcast using the Blabberize podcasting tool. These were then uploaded to a Glogster (online, interactive poster) along with appropriate photos and/or slideshows, text boxes and a link to a significant event that happened in history during their lifetime or when the landmark site was established.
